Halfway you see a shift to coherence with a simple heart coherence exercise. The picture below shows the heartrate of someone just sitting on a chair, although this person is at this moment not exposed to stress the heartrate is clearly chaotic. This is because blood flow to your neo cortex (your ‘thinking brain’) is increased and cortisol levels decrease while production of hormone DHEA increases. When you’re in the flow you will find that you have more energy, you feel happier and brighter, you can think more clearly and creatively- also during stressful situations. When you are in a state of coherence your hormone-, nervous- and immune system tune up to this harmonious rhythm of your heart, so you are ‘in the flow’ or ‘in the zone’.

Rhythmic variations in a heartrate is a coherent heartrate. You train yourself to make this variation as rhythmically as possible. With this highly sensitive sensor, we measure your heart rate and especially the variations in your heart rate.
